Pattern in Repeat *ONLINE* WORKSHOP Intensive | APRIL 13th 2-5pm

This is an *ONLINE* Pattern in Repeat intensive workshop where you will learn all you need to know to start creating your very own patterns. In this workshop you will learn pattern layouts and terminology, practice analogue processes like drawing, painting and mark making, learn how to develop a pattern on paper, and techniques for coming up with new ideas for designs. In the last hour I will demonstrate how to digitize and play with your artwork on the computer. *You do not need to know how to draw to take this workshop! 

Each participant will receive my Pattern in Repeat Zine in the mail and an ***OPTIONAL, 20 minute, follow-up chat with Kate for feedback and ideas regarding your work! These will be individually scheduled in the weeks following the workshop. If you cannot make it to the live stream you will have access to a recording of the workshop!

Supplies you'll want to have at home:

~ A blank page spiral notebook (8.5X11 preferably)

~ A tracing paper pad or tracing paper roll (more cost effective)

~ Ticonderoga pencils (and a sharpener!)

~ Watercolor set 

~ Brush marker set 

~ Colored pencil set

~ Conte crayon set
